This fund raising is primarily focused for 2 things
1. To find if we can use some of the existing technologies to get water to the drought hit villages. I was inspired by the story of the Bamboo Towers which condenses water from air.. detailed story http://bit.ly/1PRzwKt . We are planning to build model set up as an experiment to see if this really works here. If it does then we will scale it up. The funds I require is for experiment purpose alone first. We are still estimating how much it would cost to build one such thing. The estimated cost of building a prototype will be around 45000 - 50000.

2. To provide financial support to families, particularly to the women whose husband were farmers and have committed suicide. I would identify a few such families and provide them financial support to restart their farming!. We had tried this a couple of years back in the Vidarbha region and a few families were able to start to work on their land and restart agriculture. I aim to support at least 6 - 8 such families. . I will tie up with local farmer's network / groups / organization to identify the beneficiary. If the campaign goes successfully, will raise more later!
