Hello all,

We share our deep gratitude to every person who has contributed for the ongoing critical care treatment of my dear brother Jacob Jose.

He met with an accident on 02nd June and sustained extensive injuries in his abdomen and thighs. Due to poor nursing care in govt hospital at Dharmapuri, TN, he got septicemia. By that time we managed to get him to a better hospital in Salem, however, he went into a very very critical phase due to full blown septicemia. Doctors worked day and night to stabilise his vitals and conducted multiple surgeries and injected very potent antibiotics and other drugs. He had unbearable pain due to wounds and infection. When the infection started affecting his internal organs, he lay in complete sedation with ventilator and other support for BP for 08 days continuously before he opened his eyes and looked at us.

Now his vitals are stable but he is still in ICU with partial breathing support but due to infection, his wounds are presently not healing well.

He will require 1-2 surgeries depending on how his wounds are healing and then within 2-3 weeks doctors are expecting that a grafting surgery can be undertaken.

The whole journey was that of immense pain and emotional turmoil but I am relieved because he is now out of danger provided we can give adequate care to avoid any further infection. There are some complications due to aftermath of sepsis and administration of strong antibiotics, which I am entrusting to God and praying continuously that he will heal my child completely.

Meanwhile, the daily expenditure became too high for us to bear. Nearly 70k required on a daily basis. Your contributions will be utilised for his daily bill payments which includes ICU charges, ventilator/vaccum dressing, monitors, nursing charges, pharmacy, specialised doctors consultation, various tests conducted on a daily basis(MRI/CT/Doppler scans, blood and urine test/cultures) as well as surgeries and surgical procedures like incision conducted on him from time to time.

I have provided bills for 18th and 19th June to Milaap. Some bills are provided on succeeding days even though bill payment is done.

Every contribution from every member who has lend out a helping hand at this time to need, is being received by us, with a lot of gratitude and words are not enough to thank you all. Please pray for our child's speedy recovery.

God bless all of you.

Warm regards,

Remya
