    This fundraiser will benefit

    Jacob Jose

    from Ernakulam, Kerala

Hello all,

I am Remya Ann Jose and I am raising funds for my brother's treatment.

My brother Jacob Jose, 26 years, works in Bangalore. He recently finished his studies and started working and had just started paying off his education loans and getting settled in Bangalore. But life gave us a jolt all of a sudden. While travelling to Bangalore on his bike, on 02nd June 2019, unfortunately he met with an accident and sustained multiple injuries.

He was first admitted to Dharmapuri Medical College Hospital immediately and underwent surgery. However, due to very poor post-op care, he went into a very dangerous and life threatening condition of sepsis.

We somehow managed to move him to Salem. He was under critical care with ventilator support for two weeks and underwent further surgeries under life support at VIMS Hospital, Salem.

Once he became stable to be shifted out, we move him to Rajagiri Hospital in Kochi( our hometown), Kerala. His infection spiked and condition fluctuated many times in between. He has till date since June 02nd, undergone 10 surgeries and still continues to be in ICU receiving critical care.

He will require continued critical care for few weeks more and will require 2-3 months of hospitalisation.

Meanwhile, the daily expenditure which is exorbitantly high, is adding up with every passing day. The cost of treatment as on 15th July 2019 has touched 23 lakhs.  I sincerely thank all who have stood with us and contributed to support my brothers treatment so far. It has been a very difficult journey for my family, every day. Your support and prayers mean the world to us.

We are trying to raise more funds in view of the present situation to support Jacobs ongoing treatment. Any small amounts will help. More the hands, better the help.

Please also do keep Jacob in your prayers so that God grant him the strength and will power and courage to tide over these rough days and walk back into perfect health and into our loving arms. May Almighty God give back to all of you in multitudes.

Warm regards and prayers,
Remya Ann Jose(sister)
