Empowerment Update #156:

Facilitating the Marriage of a girl from an Impoverished and Backward Community

Under the Empowered Village - Empowered Society Initiative, CEI facilitated the marriage of a young woman from a marginalized community in Lingoda village, located in the Agar-Malwa district of Madhya Pradesh.


 
This initiative endeavors to uplift underprivileged communities through the implementation of a Holistic Empowerment MahaSadhana, aimed at creating a society free from the shackles of casteism and exploitation.

With the support of dedicated Grass-Roots Sadhaks, CEI successfully sponsored the marriage ceremony of the daughter, Sona Malviya, and ensured that all pre-wedding customs and traditions were observed.

Katkari tribal girl Lakxmi ji is looking after her orphan child after she lost her father at a young age. CEI  provided sufficient food provisions for 1 month to them. Through Sashakt Beti Initiative CEI is taking care of many such orphan tribal girl children
