We could save more than 20,500 lives in a year when it seemed impossible. With this, the number of lives we have been able to help save since our inception crosses 1,20,000.  A look back at the year gone by as we enter into another one full of possibilities.

It has been nearly 6 months since we started The Healers’ Collective and we are closer to reaching one third of our goal amount, all thanks to your kindness and generosity. In this time, we have together been able to save 20,000 lives by facilitating walk-in donations as well as by organising 12 blood donation camps.

While these numbers are uplifting considering the current circumstances, we still have a long way to go until we can fulfill the demand of the patients who need us. At Khoon, we are committed to not only meet these blood requirements but also promise a dignified life to patients with chronic diseases. To achieve this, we have kickstarted a project for thalassemia patients, wherein we listen and solve the issues faced by thalassemia patients in their everyday life.

Your support is making it possible for us to take these steps towards a holistic healing of the many patients whose lives depend on blood donation. The more you support, the more lives get a second chance.

We are also actively encouraging discourse across popular channels, with support from actors, entrepreneurs and influencers, including Satyabharat Mohapatra, Nikhil Thampi and Chhavi Hussein. Our founder, Chethan Manchegowda, was also invited as a speaker by India Today and by TV News 18. We have also been featured across media houses such as The Logical Indian and Edex, among others.

As time goes on, we only envision our collective impact multiplying further. If you have donated, tell your friends our story. It can translate into several months of life for someone.
