Kajali is doing her best to educate her daughter

Sonali is a B.A. 2nd year student at Basirhat College. She has a brother who makes window or fencing grill. Her father is engaged in wooden furniture making and her mother works as a cook in a government school under mid-day meal scheme. Her mother, Kajali, also does stitching from home. "I stitch blouses, nighties, churidars, etc. according to the demand of the clothes supplier," said Kajali. When I asked Sonali about her plan after completing B.A. she said, "I want to study B.Ed after this because I want to become a teacher." She had always been interested in teaching since she was a child. Kajali said that she will do her best to support her daughter's aim to become a teacher. And wants her daughter to be well educated so that she can stand on her own feet and be an independent woman when she grows up. Kajali's son dropped out of school after completing class 9 so she wants her daughter to do well in her studies. Her son might not have been able to complete his studies due to their financial problem but she does not want the same thing to happen to her daughter. So she is trying hard to provide her daughter with the best education that can be provided.
