Anjali is relieved that her son can continue his education

Anjali was busy doing her household activities as I entered her house. She was very excited to see me arriving to her place. Anjali is a middle-aged woman who works in a 'chana' factory besides managing her household chores. She is a mother of three. With a very limited household income, Anjali finds it troublesome to pay for her son's education. Three years back when Anjali's husband fell sick, she had to take the entire responsibility of her family. While doing so her son's education started suffering as she was unable to pay his tuition fees. His name is Deb and he now studies in class V. Deb is a mediocre student, however, he wants to try harder so that he can take the responsibility of his family. I could not meet Deb as he was out for his tuition and would take some time to reach home. When I asked Anjali about her current family situations, she sounded relieved and said, "Now I am happy that my sons are going to school and my husband has also started working again". Anjali makes all such efforts that are required to back up a child who has the urge to make it big in life. She does not think twice before making an investment for the sake of her family. She believes that all the struggles that the family is going through currently makes a scope for something bigger in future.
