Three lives were lost on that fateful day, and their children were left fighting for their lives. Their 16-year-old son, a promising young boy who had just received his final exam results, was critically injured. With aspirations of becoming an engineer, his dreams now hang in the balance.
Satti Babu and Satyavati, a hardworking couple, have always struggled to make ends meet. He works as a watchman in a private apartment, earning a meager salary of 7,000 Rupees, while she works as a housemaid, earning 5,000 Rupees per month. They had big dreams for their children, hoping to provide them with a better future.
"My son is currently in the ICU, hanging on to life, connected to a ventilator. Although he's not in a coma, he remains unconscious, unable to open his eyes. Sometimes, when he sees us, he weakly tries to remove the tubes and pipes that keep him captive. The accident left him with a damaged spinal cord, broken ribs, and even a rib piercing his lungs. He urgently needs three critical surgeries: one for his brain, one for his lungs, and one for his spinal cord.
