He Found Out Online His Cancer Has A Cure, But Knows His Parents Can't Afford It

At the age when you spend time in school playing with your friends and all you can think of is chocolates, this little boy of 12 is fighting for his life. Fahim is suffering from Lymphoblastic Leukemia, which has caused a 14cm tumour in his chest. His condition is life-threatening, but he knows chemotherapy can save him, because he looked his condition up online.

He was so weak he couldn't even sit up on the bed...

As soon as they got to know about Fahim’s deteriorating condition, his parents didn't waste any time to bring him to Bangalore.

“It was very difficult for all of us. He was continuously vomiting and he was so weak that he couldn’t even get off the bed by himself. I... I never imagined I would see him like this.”  - Roshanara, mother

He knows his cancer has a cure

Fahim knows that he has cancer, and that it can be cured. He figured it all out by looking it up online. In the beginning he was very afraid but the more he researched on the internet, the more he started believing he will be fine. It was his confidence that gave the parents hope and kept them going all this while.

“Whenever the doctor visits him, he starts asking questions that even we didn’t think of. He is very curious. He is better than before, he is improving, but... but we can’t afford the treatment any further."  - Roshanara, mother

I brought all I had but it is not enough

“I worked in a private company. I didn’t earn much but it was enough to feed my family. Now I don’t even have that job anymore. 9 lakhs! I spent all I had and borrowed from friends and family. I have no other source left now. I feel so helpless. I don’t want to lose my child. 15 lakhs more? I... I can't.” - Abdul, father

“I have a daughter too. She is 6 years old. We had to leave her back in our home town with our relatives. We can’t even afford to call her and talk to her properly. I just want my Fahim to get well and take him back home.” - Abdul, father

Initial rounds of treatment are showing very positive results for Fahim but unless his family can afford the full course, they will lose him. They need 15 lakhs for chemotherapy. Your kind help can save this little boy.
