His mother spent countless sleepless nights holding him as he cried in pain, softly wiping his tears and whispering words of comfort to help him sleep.
Even though his sister faced her own challenges, she worried more for him. “When Papa takes him to the hospital, I stay back and manage on my own,” she said quietly. “I just wish I could do more for him.”
They Need 15 Lakhs for Treatment, But It's Beyond Their Reach
His father sold the taxi that was his only source of income. The money was gone within months, swallowed by the medical bills and the costs of traveling from Dehradun to Apollo Hospital every 11 days for the chemotherapy.
“We’ve spent everything we had,” he said. “I borrowed from friends and relatives, but the treatment needs 15 lakhs more. I have tried everything but I don’t know what to do now.”
