"He Cries to Me, ‘Papa, Why Me? What Did I Do Wrong?’"

I’m a father… a helpless father watching both my children suffer.

My daughter was born with a disability—that made walking difficult. I spent years trying to ease her pain, saving every penny for surgeries and therapy to help her walk. I thought that was the hardest test of my life. But fate, as it seemed, wasn’t finished testing him.

My daughter was born with a disability

But then, my 14-year-old son was diagnosed with blood cancer. He was always so full of life, always dreaming big. But now, the cancer and the chemotherapy have drained him. He’s weak, his body is frail, and his thick black hair is gone.

He cries to me, “Papa, why me? What did I do wrong? I’ve never hurt anyone. Why is God punishing me?” And I have no answers.

My 14-year-old son was diagnosed with blood cancer

I sold my taxi, my only source of income, to pay for his treatment. I borrowed from friends and family, but it’s still not enough. We need 15 lakhs more to save him. His sister, despite being handicapped, feels more concerned for him.

Even though his sister faced her own challenges, she worried more for him. “When Papa takes him to the hospital, I stay back and manage on my own,” she said quietly. “I just wish I could do more for him.”

His sister, despite being handicapped, feels more concerned for him

Every day, I pray to God. “Take my life, take everything I have, but please save my son.”
But prayers alone aren’t enough. I’m helpless now. I can’t save him on my own.

I Feel Helpless And You Are My Only Hope

My son used to dream of being an engineer, he spent hours tinkering with old electronics and building little gadgets, but now he seems to lose hope each day. His sister prays for his recovery, and I have done everything within my power. But I can’t do it alone anymore.

I’m pleading for your help. Please, give my son a chance to live. Your kindness could bring back his dreams, his smile, and his future.
