I Already Lost One Child And Don't Want To Lose Another, Please Help Me Save My Child

A Parent's Desperate Plea

1. Ankit Kumar is haunted by the memory of losing one child while watching his 7-year-old son struggle with Fanconi anemia.

2. His son’s illness began with persistent fevers and was diagnosed as Fanconi anemia after several clinic visits and tests.

3. Doctors recommend a bone marrow transplant, but Ankit, a vegetable seller, cannot afford it.

4. The family moved from Bihar to Delhi, living in a temple and struggling to find treatment and donors.

5. They are on the brink with no support or resources, desperately seeking donations to save their son.

We have already lost one child and now we are on the verge of losing our second child too

- Our 7 years old son who used to be so healthy, full of life and joy is now just going through unimaginable pain

- We first noticed something was wrong when he started having persistent fevers. At first, we thought it was just a common illness, something that would pass with time. But as the weeks went by, his condition worsened. We took him to a private clinic, hoping for answers, but he did not get better.

- Desperate, we sought help from a bigger hospital. It was there that we received the devastating news: his platelets and blood were dangerously low, and further tests revealed he had Fanconi anemia.

The doctors say he needs a bone marrow transplant, but I am helpless

I am just a vegetable seller, and our financial situation is dire. But my wife, with her unwavering strength, encouraged me to go to Delhi. So, five months ago, we left our home in Bihar and came to the capital, hoping to find a way to save our son.

We do not have a place to stay and have been living in a temple. I feel helpless, constantly searching for blood donors and facing mounting medical expenses.

We are living on the brink, with no support and no resources

The pain of losing a child once already makes the thought of losing another even more unbearable. My son is in dire need of a bone marrow transplant, but the cost is beyond our means. Every day, I worry about how I will find the money to save him. I pray to God for a miracle, for someone to help us in our darkest hour.

Please, I beg you, help us save our son. Any amount you can donate will bring us one step closer to getting him the treatment he needs.
