The diagnosis that changed everything
Life changed for us four years ago when my husband started having swelling in his body. At first, we thought it was something minor, but his condition worsened, and the swelling spread. He was admitted to the hospital, and after several visits and tests, we found out it was his kidneys.
We tried to keep hope alive, but three months ago, the doctor confirmed our worst fear—he has kidney failure. He now needs dialysis three times a week, but due to hospital constraints, he only gets it twice. His health is slipping away, and we feel powerless.- Maloo

All the money was borrowed from relatives because we had no savings. Our family survives on farming, and there is little left after the hard work. My daughter, who should be focusing on her studies in the 11th standard, now works as a receptionist at Omkar Hospital in Jalgaon to support us. My son, just 12 years old and in the 9th standard, tries his best to help, but the situation is too overwhelming for him. We live in a small hut on our farm, and most days, we struggle to afford even a proper meal. The burden is suffocating, but I can’t stop; I have to stay strong for my family.
