When the Covid took India by storm in 2020, Womenite started with various campaigns to provide food to the needy people. We served over 2000 dry ration kits and served meals to over 5000 people !! Currently we have distributed more then 40+ oxygen concentrators and medical supplies to the people in need and now we request your support and help to increase this number and help our nation and our people fight this pandemic.
TOGETHER WE CAN FIGHT THIS

Womenite is a youth-driven social initiative committed to bring awareness about predominant issues in the society Menstrual Health, Child Sexual Abuse, Gender Equality and other issues to bring about tangible changes in the lives of girls and women.

Further, to mark the occasion of International Menstrual Hygiene Day on 28th May, we initiated #EndPeriodPoverty campaign to distribute sanitary napkins to girls and women in need. With great pride, we share that we have distributed over 50,000 packets (5 lakhs) of sanitary pads by associating with various stakeholders like Delhi Commission for Women, multiple Mahila Panchayats, Delhi (“DCPCR”), District Magistrate, MLAs, Member of Parliament, etc.
On 8th March i.e., International Women's Day, we were able to carry out menstrual hygiene management awareness campaigns along with distribution of free pads across 12 states in India.

The 2nd wave has drastically affected the lives of people in India in 2021, majority of whom are unable to afford basic medical facilities. Our team has started with the distribution of oxygen concentrators to government hospitals & authorities and are trying to reach out to needy individual patients as well.

For the mass reach of our campaign, we would be needing your support. You can lend your support to WOMENITE initiative so that we can increase the domain, geography and scope of our activities.
