Why am I fundraising?

There are many govt & Corporation  run Pre University (11th &12th std/+1&+2) colleges in Bangalore. Students studying in these colleges in Science Stream are doing fine in their exams. But they are failing to get admit  in to good professional courses.

Since to get in to good engineering or Medical colleges, they have to get good score in KCET, a common entrance test for professional course (engg. & Medical) for PU students. To get good score in KCET, a seperate coaching is reuiqred. at   the outset, coaching fee KCEt ranges from 15k to 80 k per annum.

We have thought a solution through technology. We will record coaching classes in a Studio and live stream the same classes classes to govt run colleges through Internet. It's interactive. Students can raise questions/doubts and get answered.
Students will receive classes in real time. 
In each college, we will identify a co-ordinator, who will take care of our products also we will provide with him a mobile phone. if any students raises his/her hands foe doubts, he wull give that mobile to that student. it will get connected to studio, the query of students get answered. 

Every week we will condcut tests on the topics covered in previous week. We will show questions on screen and students will asked to note down the answe for the same. After completion of test duration. we will show key answers. Students will come to know their marks or they asses themselves. 

The main key to this project is good teachers. We have identified. For streaming we have identified Livestream.com platform. for Internet we will go with BSNL.

  

What do I plan to do with the funds?

We will set up a studio. A sound proof class room with camera, visualiser, a smart baord and control panel. we will live stream through our computer to all class rooms via Livestream.com.

At colleges, we will set up a projector with sound box ( available in naptol like ecom sites for Rs.5k to 7 k) with UPS. 
we will arrange for a small remuneration for co-ordinators at colleges. 
we will get Bangalore's best lecturers to coach the students. we will have to arrange for transportation and remuneration for the teahcers.

for Non recurring expenses ( to set up)  we require funds. for recurring expesnes ( for operational expenses) such as remuneraion, internet charges etc.,  we are planing to collect Rs. 20 per student per month.
