Namma Kaada Habba

Turahalli Forest is a reserved Forest area in Bengaluru South region which has been a victim of illegal encroachments and activities. After frequent visits and requests to the concerned authorities, the Forest Department has constructed a compound wall to ensure that the above-mentioned encroachments and illegal activities can be checked and controlled. However, now there is a threat of this area becoming a garbage dumping yard for the residents and other people if the wall is not beautified. The compound wall runs up to 1km in length and therefore there is a need for a lot of resources to be procured for the same. Therefore, we are initiating this campaign with a fond hope that people will contribute generously for the cause!
The residents of the locality have undertaken several tree plantation drives in the forest area and have been continuing to look after that same. Now, we need your help and contribution for this bigger cause!
