Social Empowerment Society (SES) is a non-profit organization registered under Society Reg. Act, 1860, is carring out various activities in accordance with the Memorandum of Association and the Rules and regulations of the Society ever since it came into existence. The Society started its functioning with the following activities:-
- Its working on improve primary education quality in Primary and Upper Primary level in rural and urban areas, conducted a survey to find out the situation of primary and junior government schools in the Basdila Rausad Nyay panchayat.
- RTI training camp in school/collages/universities and remote villages.
- Awareness programmes about 73rd and 74th amendment of constitutions in association with Teesari Sarkar Abhiyan.
- Organised “Dharti Bachao Cycle Yatra 2016” for awareness about saves water, sanitation, tree plantation and environment protection, it cover 2600 kilometre cycle yatra of 35 districts of Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.
- Awareness about child rights in association with ChildLine Gorakhpur.
- Awareness programme about science and technology in collaboration with Regional Science and Technology Kendra Taramandal Gorakhpur.
- Mass awareness program about sanitation and pure drinking water was conducted in the ten Gram Panchayats of Basdila Rausad Nyaya Panchayat.
- Women empowerment through SHG etc.
- To start programs related with the various government sector schemes in order to increase awareness in the masses.
- Letters sent to 35 District Magistrates, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh demanding a protection, conservation of water and environment, letters written to the Prime Minister of India, the Leader of the Opposition and the Leaders of major political parties.
- Mass awareness programme about conservation of Ramgarh natural lake (1700 acre) and Mahesara Tal Gorakhpur U.P. (400 acre) and advocay.
