My name is Sahana Shree, and I’m from a village from Nanjangud, Karnataka. I’m the fundraiser for my younger brother, Sandhesh HM ( S/O – Manjunath) who met with an accident on 27/09/2019 while returning home and is now admitted in Apollo Hospital, fighting for life.

My brother is a 22-year-old engineering student studying at Maharaja Institute of Technology, Mysore. While returning home with my mom on 27/09/2019 on a two-wheeler, they met with a fatal accident which injured both of them. My mother survived the incident with minor injuries while my brother has been admitted in ICU because of a major head injury. He is undergoing treatment for the same at Apollo Hospital, Mysore, and multiple operations are in line for it.

Both my parents are farmers, and I’m the sole breadwinner of my family. I completed my diploma and started working in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, to support my family. Though I wanted to study further, I couldn’t because of monetary issues. So, I decided to support my brother’s education with all my capacity. I now save half of my meager salary to fund my brother’s education because I want to see him grow in life. This accident has shattered all hopes for us and I am in no condition to bear all the medical expenses on my own. My parents are not aware about insurance and I have exhausted whatever little I had ever since I have admitted him in the hospital. He is undergoing multiple surgeries followed by a long recovery period which is yet to come.

He's suffering from RTA+ b/l frontal EDH + maxilla/zygoma and needs to undergo ACF base repair and facio maxillary surgery. The expenses of the surgery and medicine is estimated at 8 lakhs and additional surgery and treatment as 4 lakhs and doctors said he needs to be in ICU for observation as the damage is severe.
