Help Nagesh Who is Critical And In Coma Due To A Terrible Bike Crash.

Hello Everyone!

I'm Vitor Monteiro, the Community manager at T-Hub, a startup incubator in Hyderabad.

The worker of one of our amazing startups had a bike crash.

  • This is a call for help:

Help to provide a family the financial means to help their boy to recover from coma.

  • What we want:
We are asking for RS.9,20,000  ( around 14.000 USD ) to help to get this boy out of coma and to fully rehabilitate him, so we can have him again working at T-Hub with the other startups, helping on their drive to impact the World.

The family already paid Rs.3,20.000, considering the CM Relief Fund might give something around Rs.1,50,000, this goes to a total of Rs.4,70,000.

Considering the estimated costs are of Rs.11,84,000, we still need around Rs.7,00,000 rupees for this 1st phase

Considering we also want to help the family with the rehabilitation phase, for at least 4 months, which would cost around Rs.50,000 per month, we get a total of Rs.2,00,000 rupees for the rehab period, the 2nd phase.

This is why we're asking for Rs.9,20,000 in total.

  • This is what happened:

Duthurgi. Nagesh, 22 years old, from Bollaram IDA, Jinnaram, Hyderabad, working for a Startup that is being incubated at T-hub, called Conclave Technologies Pvt. Ltd ( SmartLivein ), met with a bike accident on 31 st May 2018 at Mumbai Highway Exit Muthangi ORR Junction, Hyderabad. He is since then in coma.

He was on the back seat of the bike, his father was driving it, they were hit from behind by a lorry truck, causing Nagesh a brain hemorrhagic contusion ( even though he was using helmet ), a right lung scapular fracture, among other things, causing him to go into a state of coma.

He was rushed to Government Hospital Patancheru but on arrival and due to the severe condition he was in, the doctor suggested them to go to other hospital, with all facilities a ICU needs to deal with something like this. So he was then admitted in Continental Hospital on the 1 st June, with the in-patient number: IPCH18004217. The current bill is Rs.11,84,000 ( estimation for 14 days ).

His father is an auto rickshaw driver and his mother is a housewife. They are from a low income segment of the population and do not possess the financial means to cover the expenses.

  • Some facts:

We helped the family to apply to CM relief Fund ( 6/6/2018 ) and are still waiting to know how much it will be allocated ( anyway we know the max they allocate is around 1.5 lakhs, and in extreme rare cases goes till 3 lakhs )
I'll put here the estimation costs image and the image with the current bill minus what was paid till date ( 6/6/2018 ).

Dear Nagesh donor,

It is with great joy that I come here to tell you that Nagesh, even though is still in coma, is going to leave Continental Hospital and will be transferred to a rehabilitation center during this week.

This move was pending due to a right lung complication that is now almost sorted out.

At the rehab center he will continue to have medical treatments plus physiotherapy and neural stimulation, so he can regain consciousness faster ( let's pray and send him good vibes ) and come back to work at T-Hub!

When we finish his transfer to the rehab center, I'll share some photos with all his heroes, you guys :)

Let's keep faith up high!

Any questions, don't hesitate to contact me on vitor.m@t-hub.co

Again I remind to all the supporters that as a token of appreciation, you guys ( those who are not yet familiar with T-Hub and are around Hyderabad ) can join us for a tour where you'll be coming to a place that will stimulate your senses and your dreams. You'll be coming to a place that is at the forefront of innovation and good practices.

The place where Nagesh works :)

Mark Twain said: “To live a fulfilled life, we need to keep creating the "what is next", of our lives. Without dreams and goals there is no living, only merely existing, and that is not why we are here.”

Dear Supporters,

Thank you for your love and support.

Went to see him yesterday ( 8th Jun ) at Continental Hospital.
They were allowing just one person at a time with him, so when my time came I went to him, I looked at him, looked to the machineries around him.

Then I got closer, grabbed his hand, started talking to him. Told him that he belongs to an amazing Community that is rallying around him.

Told him T-Hub waits for him, that he has an amazing family that is going all in to help him. Told him we came up with a crowdfunding campaign that crossed 7Lakhs. Told him we're helping his parents.
Told him not to worry, just to focus and fight to get better.

From time to time he was also grabbing my hand, this gives me hope.

Other than that he is stable, slowly recovering. He continues responding to pain estimulus, i.e, if you pintch his arm he sort of makes small movements. This is a photo from yesterday ( 8th Jun ). He is looking good and strong!

Regards,
Vitor
