Vivekananda Siksha Niketan Trust is a grassroots voluntary Organization working amidst the poor and the disadvantage section of the society in a group of remote village of Bhagabatipur in South24 Pgs district.The spirit of fellow-feeling apathy and deep concern for the poor is the main aim of the organization. This spirit is the driving force for our trust in sustaining as a grassroot organization. Registered under the West Bengal Trust Act-XXVI of 1961, FCRA Registration Act. 1976 ministry of home Affairs Govt. of India and 12AA. 80G Income Tax Govt. of India.

Children are the future of a nation. For an emerging country like India, development of underprivileged children holds the key to the progress of the nation itself, and their education is the cornerstone of this progress. But education for children cannot be achieved without ensuring the welfare of the family – a child can go to school regularly only when the family, particularly the mother is healthy and empowered; the family has decent livelihood opportunities and a steady income.
Realizing this, VSNT, beginning in the corridors of education, has adopted a lifecycle approach with intensive programmes focused on family health, livelihood and community engagement through women empowerment, which addresses the needs of less privileged children, their families and the larger community.
My name is Suprabhat and I am raising funds for Non-profit which is working towards the rehabilitation and education of street children . We are at present taking care of street children (show your reach/impact) and need to send them to school (As we have non profit NGO and Secondary school, where students are learning without any fees. we have to develop them with computer education, books etc.). Kindly support our cause by donating and sharing our fundraiser.
We need fund for Construction of the school extension . We provide free books to the children's.
We provide food to the children's of school free of cost.
Here's how the funds will be utilized (Books, Computer Center, Teacher recruitment and school development ).
Support for education and health is also provided to recognize those children who have performed outstanding deeds of bravery and selfless sacrifices including bravery award winners. There are over 4,200 individual children who have been supported through this programme.
Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life: the means because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one's awareness on a range of issues – from healthcare to appropriate social behaviour to understanding one's rights – and in the process help him/her evolve as a better citizen.
Trust constantly strives to support and empower individuals, particularly underprivileged children enabling them to meet basic ambitions of their life and realize their potential, make informed choices, resist oppression, fight for rightful existence and facilitate new possibilities and opportunities for them.
The Trust takes up individual cases based on their immediate needs. These individuals are then given educational support, in individual capacity, who are at risk of discontinuing their studies due to impoverished circumstances and have exhibited outstanding academic record. Individuals suffering from any critical diseases are provided support for their health; specific cases are also taken for rehabilitation wherein they are given educational support, vocational training, entrepreneurship training, counseling and provision for aids and appliances.
