This fundraiser is an initiative by YoloBus to help and support migrant workers in need.
During the country-wide lockdown, we were able to send hundreds of migrant workers back home safely in collaboration with Sonu Sood. Today, there are an estimated 50,000 migrant workers in Maharashtra and Delhi looking for support to get home. In spite of spending many months of saving and sometimes even taking loans, they are having to travel in crowded trucks at the risk of being duped by their transport provider.
Through the Ghar Bhejo Campaign, we aim to send at least 5000 more migrant workers back home safely.
We have partnered with non-profits to perform health screenings and to obtain necessary travel permissions for the workers. For every INR 1000 you donate we are able to put one person on a safe bus to their home.
We need your support to send 5000 migrants home. In unprecedented times like these, every little bit helps. Please donate generously and share widely.
