Ya_All has been crowdfunding and supporting more than 2000+ children in shelters, adolescents, youths, stranded students, migrants, Transgender, Daily wage workers, and People living with HIV and Disability in Manipur from last 60 days /2 months through an initiative called "KHUDOL INITIATIVE". Khudol means "GIFT" in Manipuri. The initiative has been praised by the United Nations and also enlisted among 10 young LGBTI people/organizations fighting COVID-19 around the Globe in their IDAHOBIT Edition.

We also raised the issues of exclusion of a separate space for Transgender persons in Quarantine centers regarding COVID-19 and helped create the first model of Inclusive quarantine center in Imphal at DM College of Teacher Education with separate toilet facilities for Transgender persons in Manipur along with Thangmeiband United Club and Imphal West District administration. Manipur now has a separate Quarantine Centre of Transgender persons run by the Social Welfare Department and supported by the Government of Manipur.

Manipur has declared 5th phase of lockdown till 30th June and many LGBTI individuals who earn their livelihoods by running beauty parlors/salons, opening small shops/businesses, LGBTI people living with HIV, Mental Illness and other daily wages are facing a renewed crisis due to loss of jobs, income sources, access to medicines and therapy. It has also been reported globally that the lockdown has increased violence on the queer community as everyone has been instructed to stay at home with the government promoting #StayAtHome restrictions. For many individuals, their own homes have become an unsafe space now without any support.

June is PRIDE Month and this fundraiser by Ya_All is to support and assist in providing basic security of healthcare and shelter for a month to young and elder LGBTI individuals in distress due to the lockdown. We will be supporting 500 individuals in distress with an amount of 1000 INR each as a campaign for pride month.
