This new year, share the gift of basic right to period care.

Donate today to make someone’s life better and leave your mark in their hearts.

Altry Foundation and Pride India has collaborated with Nua to provide underprivileged women with Sanitary Pads that will last them all the way till next year!

As we start this New Year, it’s a great time to reflect on the things we can do to make a positive impact for the future. At Nua, we see this new year as a time to enable a new spirit with a gift that can change lives - the gift of total period care.

Help us support underprivileged women by giving them Sanitary Pads that will last them all the way till next year! Without access to menstrual care, they are forced to use makeshift solutions such as newspapers or rags, which can be unsanitary, and inhumane. It dramatically increases their chances of infections and health complications. Additionally, it traps them in a cycle where they can’t go to school without proper period care, and then they are forced to drop out because of not prioritizing education. We believe our partnership can help them manage their periods with comfort, and bleed without shame.

So join us this year and support women from all backgrounds to ensure they receive the needed menstrual hygiene products. This time, make a New Year’s resolution for a period revolution.

We need your support.

A purchase of:
  • Rs. 500 will support 1 woman’s Sanitary Pad usage for 6 months
  • Rs. 5000 will support 5 women with their Sanitary Pad usage for 1 year
About Project Prerna

Since our inception 3 years ago, we have seen that every little bit helps. We have supported over 50,000 women in low-income neighbourhoods with menstrual hygiene kits. We joined hands with the Rotary Club of Bombay last year to help women frontline workers, including doctors, nurses and healthcare support staff receive kits containing menstrual and personal hygiene products, and have seen first-hand the real difference it can make. This year we want to make an even bigger difference and think your contribution could help us take that leap forward.
