The pandemic COVID-19 has led to shutting down of commercial areas of cities, primarily all food eateries and restaurants which played an essential role in the feeding of stray animals of the area (primarily dogs and cats). Moreover, due to the restricted movement of people, these animals barely have any source of food on the street.
We have tried arranging for food for dogs, cats and cows on the street by connecting volunteers and donors and marking out areas where the animals are being fed.
There is a lot more scope an organised effort to feed them, and we can help the feeders by connecting them to more donors.
Moreover, we are posting all documents published by official government handles which declare that feeding of strays is completely legal. You may have to check with your local government office for passes.

In the summer of 2016, a group of animal lovers got together. We wanted to do our bit for the commonly seen and ignored Indian mongrels or the Indian pariah dogs.
Hence we decided to collectively work towards the welfare of stray animals (primarily dogs) in the small city of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Our journey of ABC & vaccination camps, adoptions and on spot treatment has touched the lives of many voiceless strays and gave us the experience to move forward to the next phase of our work with a goal to build a future where humans and animals can coexist in harmony in Allahbad:
