On 31st August 2021, Vinod Shankar Pal and Triloki Nath Pal were taken outside their home and brutally thrashed and physically assaulted by 6 people over the issue of auto-rickshaw parking. The assaulters used sticks, axe and attacked several times on their heads and legs, and ran Bolero over on Triloki Nath Pal. Both of them are in critical condition with brain injuries and one is in comma, fighting for their lives. The brothers belong to a family with very weak economic status and have wives and toddlers.
