My cousin, Vimla Devi, is a single mother of 3 children. After losing her husband to a long and excruciating fight with cancer 9 years ago, she has taken care of her daughter and 2 sons all by herself, never asking anyone for any sort of financial help.

She has worked day in and out, averaging about 14-16 hours of work everyday, as a tailor out of a small corner in her rented 2 room house to support her family. Sadly, with the breakout of COVID-19 and the subsequent lockdown, she has been out of work for over a month now. Meeting everyday expenditures of food has also become increasingly difficult. With the impending economic slowdown post lockdown, there seems to be no respite for her in sight.

With the money collected through this fundraiser and your help and generosity, she'll be able to meet the day-to-day requirements of food and support her children's education for around 4 months.
