    This fundraiser will benefit

    Dariyapur Tola

    from Dariyapur, Bihar

Hi folks! I am Vikash, an entrepreneur who runs an IT firm in Noida. I belong to a village in Bihar (20 km from Patna railway station) named as Dariyapur. I am born to an upper-caste family and grown up with an attitude very different for those our family used to treat differently. I have learned the same thing but as I have grown I found that there is some problem with us if we are differentiating with our own people since then I have tried to help those are untouchable, underprivileged and stop differentiating between humans.

But that's not about me, it's about the people who belong to us but aren't the part of it. When my village was planned (long 100s yrs back), the untouchables were given some space outside the village, that place is called as "mushar toli" or "Dariyapur tola". To your surprise in my 31 yrs age, I have been to that place just a few months back. The situation is not great for them. India is still long back and backward for them. "New India" is a dream which they also want to live but they are not sure for how many generations they still have to dream for it.

They are puppets and tool for politicians, and they are happy just like that. because they even don't understand why this is not right for them.

This is happening, because we have kept them away from the mainstream for very long, developed a hatred, a sense of untouchable, and we have no plan for them.

They are very affordable, their dreams are also small, they just want to earn their bread and live like very simple humans. If we really want to see India, we should. actually go and visit such a "mushar toli" and we can realize the real meaning of tolerance that they carry with them. They are patient and waiting for their dream for generations, and they still have tolerance to wait for many more generations.

They are great. But, are we too with them?

I want to help them with your help. We can help them in education. Learn English. Learn computers. Sewing skills. other hand-skills. Get jobs and earn their living. We can help them to mark their place in our society and our very own India.

Frequently Asked Questions:
1. You are an entrepreneur and must have good earning running your business. then why you are fundraising here?
Ans: True, but it doesn't justify that I am rich and can afford to run a full-fledged school. That's true, I need peoples to support to make others dream come true.
2. The total budget for this school thing you planned is approx 19 Lakh, however, you are raising just 15 lakh here, why is so?
Ans: I am not rich, that is true but I have little money and a big heart to help these peoples suffering. I'll fund the rest of the amount from my personal savings.
