    This fundraiser will benefit

    Victims of floods and landslides

    from Mahad, Maharashtra

This fundraiser is for the victims of floods and landslides that happened on 22nd July in the Konkan region of Maharashtra. The damages have been such that thousands have been impacted and displaced. The overall financial loss is estimated at 100 Crores!! A village named Talai bared the brunt of a hillock that swallowed 41 homes, there were no survivors. People were stuck on rooftops and closed attics for 3 days without access to food and clean water. Hospitals, pharmacies, and grocery stores were flushed with water, the level of water in certain areas was as high as 25ft.

While our team has been doing everything they can over the last 3 weeks, we now desperately need your help. We have so far prepared survival kits and distributed them to the affected people. The kits included essentials like, baby/adult diapers, medicines, baby formula, tooth brushes & pastes, washing soaps, bathing soap bars, shampoos, biscuits, packaged water, dry snacks, sanitary pads, shoes, clothes, slippers, blankets, bedsheets, pillows, mats, candles, matchsticks, cleaning products etc. We were also providing food thrice a day for 2 weeks to the floods victims throughout the area.

The raised amount will be critical for the actual restoration of the catastrophic damages caused by the floods & landslides. We will provide people with lightbulbs, electrical wires, switchboards, fans, etc.

Please donate generously, and kindly remember no aid is small. Also, please share amongst your friends, family and social media channels. Your help & support are critical for us to come out of this calamity we were struck by.

The funds will be used for the following reasons...
Wiring/electrical work : 1,50,000 rs
Sanitizing : 15,000 rs
Relief kits (sanitary pad, diapers, dry food items) :  35,000 rs

Thank you very much & bless your hearts!
