Please Help My Cousin Walk Again
My name is Akshay and I am here to raise funds for my cousin Venkatesh Bandaru. I have known him since childhood. I watched him grow from a polite, obedient boy to a kind, soft spoken man who is always helping others.
Coming from a rural background, he has faced many hardships in his life. Life was never easy for him. He moved to Hyderabad city with his family for a better life and I have seen him work very hard, shouldering many responsibilities to get where he is now.
Unfortunately, one fateful night he met with an accident and severely injured his spinal cord.
It was a blessing to have him back alive but he is paralysed from waist down.
It breaks my heart to see him this way! He is the breadwinner of his family and his widowed mother relies on his strength to endure her life.
Given his age(26yrs) the doctors are hopefull of a surgery to fix him but like everything else it costs a lot of money. The kind of money that people working hard to live a simple life don't have.
Our family has managed to gather about 4 Lakh Rupees till now through savings and loan for his initial treatment. We desperately need a remainder of 10 Lakh Rupees for him to start walking again!
My cousin is currently at home and not receiving any medication. As time is of importance here I urge and implore everyone reading this to please come forward and contribute to my cause.
Venkatesh is only 26 yrs old, he has his entire life ahead of him and he deserves better. His family needs him and his friends need him.
