My name is Veena Keshava murthy. I am here to fund-raise for building shelter for animals Veena Keshava Murthy is a resident in Bangalore. Veena Keshava Murthy had been an animal rescuer from 15 years and rescued many stray animals done the sterilization for many stray dogs and running charitable trust started in 2012, Vaathsalya Charitable Trust (R)in Bangalore.
Seeing a stray animal may tug at our hearts a little, but few go the extra mile to give them a better life. Veena Keshava Murthy from Bangalore has been a friend to hundreds of animals and is now building one of the biggest shelters in the city. She has always dreamed of building a shelter for animals, She analyzed the process and gained experience through various rescue operations before beginning.
The utilization of funds will be as follows:
We are now building separate enclosures for dogs, cats, farm animals, and birds which will cost around Rs. 50,000.
We will also have a medical dispensary that stocks medicines which would cost over Rs. 2,00,000.
Medical transportation on average costs Rs. 50,000/per month or per one an half month depending on the number of cases we receive.
We do sterilization for the female dog's which costs Rs. 1500 per sterilization. We have about 100 pending dogs as of now.
We also conduct dogs welfare awareness among the village people which also has a financial burden over conducting such activities. Per activity cost about Rs. 20,000.
We will also be building an isolation ward where animals with contagious diseases can recover because there aren’t many hospitals or shelters who take them in and this will approximately cost us Rs. 50,00,000(This will be once we raise our initial funds for Rs. 6,00,000.) As many females dogs sterilization is been lined up.. So please support us for a cause..
