Gopaldham Learning Center is not just a school; it’s a sanctuary of hope and opportunity for 72 bright, young students from rural Gujarat. Here, nestled amidst farmlands and a cowshed, students are nurtured with an education rooted in the Gandhian philosophy of 3H—Head, Heart, and Hands.

These children come from marginalized communities where daily struggles are a reality. Their families, engaged in unorganized labor, earn barely enough to meet their basic needs, with an average annual income of Rs. 1,00,000 to Rs. 1,50,000. Despite these challenges, the students of Gopaldham shine with resilience, curiosity, and an undying love for learning and sports.

This year, our students are gearing up to participate in the Khel Mahakumbh, a prestigious government-organized sports event. It’s their first time competing, and they are brimming with excitement and determination. Their passion for sports is unparalleled—they train tirelessly, playing barefoot because they can’t afford sports shoes.

But playing barefoot has taken a toll on them. The sharp stones, scorching ground, and rough surfaces leave their feet wounded and sore. These injuries not only hurt their performance but also cause immense pain and distraction.

Why We Need Your Help
We want to provide each of our students with a good pair of sports shoes so they can play comfortably, safely, and give their best in the competition. A single pair of shoes costs just Rs. 350, and our goal is to raise Rs. 25,200 to provide shoes for all 72 students.

We’ve also attached a photo of the kind of shoes we plan to buy. Your donation will directly go toward purchasing these shoes, ensuring that each child can step onto the field with comfort and confidence.
