Dear Friends,
My name is Vansh Khokhani and I am running this crowdfunding campaign for the NGO, literacy India. Literacy India was set up in 1996 as a non-profit organization, with the objective of empowering underprivileged children and women by making them self-sufficient.
About the initiative
During this pandemic, most of us are tensed and depressed as we are living in the same for the last 6 months. the privileged people can buy anything and kill their boredom but what about the underprivileged ones?. Poor people don’t have anything to do so we as metanoia has decided to conduct art workshops for underprivileged kids and women from literacy India. Its also said and proven that art helps in healing and making a person calm and stable.
Also due to this current situation, the underprivileged kids do not have enough money to buy a device for online classes so we will buy art kits and tablets from the money raised.
We will conduct online workshops through zoom and at the end of each workshop we will donate a tablet to the kid who performs the best in the workshop.
