My name is Vaibhav Agarwal, and I am 38 years old. I live in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, with my wife, two young sons, and my elderly parents. I am writing this with a heavy heart, as I am currently battling Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma, an aggressive form of kidney cancer that has already cost me one of my kidneys.
A few months ago, I underwent surgery to remove my affected kidney, but despite this, the cancer has spread, and my life has been filled with uncertainty ever since. I am now living with just one kidney, and my doctors have informed me that the next steps in my treatment will require significant resources, including chemotherapy and potentially more surgeries.
I have been receiving chemotherapy at the Department of Lab Services at Dr. B.L. Kapur Memorial Hospital. However, I have not yet been admitted, and the medical expenses are becoming overwhelming. To date, I have spent Rs. 25,00,000 on my treatment, which I arranged through my savings and loans. But I need Rs. 48,00,000 more in the coming days to continue my treatment and have any chance of recovery.
I am the primary breadwinner of my family, which includes my wife, two sons, and my elderly parents. My father, who is already suffering from heart disease, needs constant care and attention, further adding to the emotional and financial strain we are facing.
This illness has not only taken a toll on my physical and emotional well-being but has also left my family in a difficult situation. My wife, my children, and my parents are all deeply worried about my health, and the burden of my treatment expenses is making it even harder for us to cope.
I am reaching out to you, hoping that you can lend a hand in my fight for survival.
