I Sairah Mamik, a volunteer of Hamari Pahchan NGO and i am supporting their SUKHAD project to empower and to spread awareness about Menstrual Hygiene amongst women and society.
Menstruation is a normal physiological process of females at their reproductive age. However, it is surrounded with social taboos and supernatural beliefs. The poor knowledge and understanding of menstruation may lead to unsafe hygienic practice that increases the risk of getting lethal infections and diseases.
Hamari Pahchan NGO is also conducting distribution drives every week where 'Sukhad Kit' is distributed which includes pads, soap, paper for disposal, and other essential items.

Project sukhad is in need of an hour and we all need to unite for the cause.

I, along  with Hamari Pahchan NGO ARE PLANNING TO DISTRIBUTE AROUND 7 K SUKHAD KITS TO UNDERPRIVELEGED WOMEN.
Per kit price: Sukhad kit for 1 woman = Rs. 1,400/-
Sukhad kits for 5 women = Rs 7,000/-
