Udaiyappan is 28 years old young male with severe Factor 13 deficiency(a rare bleeding disorder), from a BPL family and he is currently battling to save his left leg as well as his life. He is affected by the Pseudo-tumor on his left leg between the knee and ankle which also happened to be destroying his leg bone. To make matters worse, he has frequent internal bleeding in that left leg and is in need of an emergency surgical removal of the tumor and the affected bone. He completed his higher secondary with good scores but was unable to continue his education due to financial restrictions. Afterward, he started working at various places and finally landed in hotel management and was doing fine until the beginning of COVID Pandemic, during the lockdown period he had no other choice but to spend his little hard-earned savings for his family. The workload before the pandemic started manifested during the lockdown in the form of frequent bleeding episodes and slowly developed into a life-threatening Pseudotumor, now. The doctors at CMC Vellore have advised for the surgery as soon as possible to save his life and leg, the estimated cost of the surgery is Rs. 1.5 Lakhs, he has been given 20 more days to get done with the surgery, beyond which he may lose his limb.
