Tuba Kulsum has just completed her 10 standard in March 2020, and received an excellent score of 83.2% (the marks sheet is attached below).

Due to the pandemic, her father who is a tailor by profession, has been out of work for the past 8 months. As a result, they are not able to come up with the funds for Tuba's admission in St. Theresa's Composite PU College, Chamrajpet, Bengaluru.

Tuba would like to pursue the commerce stream, and the fees for the same are as follows:

(i) Admission and tuition fees - INR 32,000
(ii) Books - INR 2,500
(iii) Uniform - INR 3,000

Thanks to several Teach For India alumni and their friends - we have already been able to raise INR 12,500 to secure her admission at this institution and for her books.  

We now need to raise the amount of INR 25,000 (remaining tuition fees and uniform expenses).

About me:

My name is Sneha Agnihotri and I work in the Impact and Development sector. I am a second year fellow with Teach For India and I teach the fourth standard at Little Angels Public School.

Tuba is one of my student's siblings. I have been in touch with her family for the past year and a half, and I know first hand the struggles that they have faced as a direct result of the pandemic.

Tuba is a bright girl and deserves this chance at further education.
