Inaya (she/ her), a transwoman originally from Bihar needs financial support for her HRT (hormone replacement therapy). Because of a rare state of health, her body has high level of testosterone and her
HRT is more expensive than a regular case. In regular hormone replacement therapy the monthly costs come around 1000-1500 per month. In Inaya's case its nearly 5000 per month as she needs high doses of estrogen.

Inaya fled her home in 2020 due to the constant humiliation and disagreement with her family, her older brothers also beat her black and blue after knowing her trans identity. She called for shelter in Garima Greh for training and skill development. She works very hard every day to learn new skills, yet she is unemployed and does not have a source of income.

She comes from a small town and a relatively conservative community where her family or relatives does not accept her identity as a transwomam and does not support her financially or emotionally.

This fundraiser is created to raise funds for her hormone replacement therapy for Inaya and other transwomen at Garima Greh shelter home. So please go ahead, make a donation and help Inaya and others live a more confident and liberated life on her own terms.
