The Takshashila Institution is in the pursuit of transforming India through better public policy. How do we actually go about doing this? We equip passionate, talented individuals with knowledge, skills and networks that can  create change.

Our students learn policy analysis, economic reasoning, and frameworks for effecting change, communication and writing for public policy. They learn to address real policy problems that they can then apply in their particular contexts.

With our 3000 alumni, several of our students have gone on to transition to a career in public policy, working with political leaders, civil servants, non-governmental organisations or the private sector.

Our philosophy is that no deserving applicant should be denied education at Takshashila for want of funds. We have been offering generous financial assistance to deserving students to enable them to successfully complete their courses. We need your help to support more deserving students obtain the Graduate Certificate in Public Policy (GCPP). With Rs 1,20,000 we can support over a dozen deserving, talented individuals to study at Takshashila.
