The COVID 19 crisis has had a devastating impact on the food situation in India. It has left millions unemployed and thus unable to afford basic necessities, including food. India has been confronted with a food shortage. With almost seven months into the pandemic, food insecurity threatens to wreck further havoc on the livelihoods of financially disadvantaged Indians, and we can only stop this by taking swift action now.

Project Poshan, an initiative by a group of 11th grade students from Gurugram, has taken to ensuring that the poor do not suffer as a result of this food crisis. With the festive season just around the corner, these students plan to spread joy by organizing a food drive through which they will distribute ration to people who are in desperate need. To accomplish this goal, we need your help. Your donations on Milaap will help us create change and play our part in healing the damage caused by this pandemic.
