ABOUT THE FAMILY
Our friend Raju's mother Thankamma aged 79 years is bedridden. She is a widow and stays with her two differently-abled daughters Rema aged 45 years who is deaf and mute and Lalitha aged 43 years who is mute. Both her daughters are unmarried.
They are living in their own home, which itself is in need of repairs. With crumbling walls, leaking roof, and unplastered.
Their only son Raju aged 59 years is not able to support them financially as he also has his own family to support namely wife and daughter. His income which consolidates ₹10,000 working in a hotel barely supports his personal requirements.
ABOUT US
We are a group of 8 individuals, who were his classmates in catering college and has been supporting him with our personal contributions for the last 5 years. We are finding it difficult to raise the required amount for them on a monthly basis given these trying times, especially for the hospitality industry.
That's when we came across this platform and would like to appeal to the Milaap community to help us reach our goal.
OUR GOAL
This is a request to raise ₹35,71,429, which would be invested as a fixed deposit in Thankamma's account.
We have arrived at this amount as Milaap had calculated with their experience ₹71,429 as possible payment gateway charges.
We hope that ₹35,00,000 in a fixed deposit at 7% interest would give Thankamma and her daughters a fixed interest income of approximately ₹20,000 per month for their sustenance and house maintenance.
