This is a story of cute and happy dog "BRUNO". More than a month ago he was happily living with his family when one fine day they decided to becomes heartless and leave him on the streets of Mira Road. Bruno clearly didn't had any idea what he did wrong to deserve this. He was starving and scared roaming around for some days and after being attacked by kids, adults and other dogs, 2 girls picked him up and took him to their home. After realising they couldn't take care of him they then left him at another person's house since the family already had a furry kid and bruno doesn't like other dogs both couldn't do well there and then call was made to again ask bruno to go out but this time the family called a Animal rescuer who then kept bruno at kennel.
But things have taken ugly turn. To check on if we can make bruno stand on all his four legs we took a x-ray of his leg and Bruno's reports are not very encouraging.Bruno's Right front leg has a bad fracture in the elbow joint. Upper end of ulna was broken sometime ago and now probably malunited.(This could be due some abuse as bruno doesn't allow anyone to pick him up and tries to bite people if they try to lift him. We do not blame him as human's have done something really terrible for this happy dog to behave such)
Vet opined that amputation may work. But we are looking at therapy option to avoid putting BRUNO in more trauma.
Isn't that too much for kid to take in but looks like God really was testing him and further the reports have shown that his heart is enlarged possibly due to tick infestation or Heart worms. We have started with Bruno's anti tick treatment. The kid has even turned aggressive due to his stay at the kennel. He needs positive association with people and surroundings so that he starts trusting humans again.
Currently we are raising fund for his medical treatment (This includes therapy for his leg, medical work for his issue about heart enlargement and further sterlisation), Foster charges and behavioural training.
Be a part of saving Bruno's life as any amount donated would help him to see a good life and be a happy dog again!!!!!!
