With the on-set of the Covid-19 outbreak around the world and the Government imposed lock-down, RSS along with Seva Bharathi, under the auspices of Swami Vivekananda Seva Kendram has been distributing cooked food packets among the poor and needy people, covering all the areas of Coimbatore.

The Centre has distributed more than 1 lakh 50 thousand cooked food packets from 26 March, 2020 till date, benefiting around 50000+ families in Coimbatore. We will continue our efforts in providing relief to the distress and the underprivileged affected by the lock-down due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Beneficiaries of the food distribution: Nomads, Roadside dwellers, Migrant Workers, Daily Wage Workers, Sick and the Elderly.  

With the aim of providing 25,000 meals per day, we need your support now, more than ever. Let us all come together and contribute so that we can continue this seamless and special service.
