On the fateful day of 18th July 2023, Suvojit and his mother were on their way to the Iskcon temple near their home in Maslandapur, West Bengal. Tragically, a heart-wrenching accident occurred near the temple gate involving a lorry. The impact was severe, and the handle of the bicycle impaled Suvojit's stomach, causing unimaginable damage. His young body suffered the trauma of his kidney and liver being forced out of his belly.

Suvojit was rushed to PG Hospital in Kolkata, where the medical team tirelessly fought to save his life. Over the course of 21 days, he underwent two critical surgeries to address the extent of the injuries. Unfortunately, complications arose as an infection took hold in his stomach, further endangering his already fragile state. In recognition of the severity of his condition, PG Hospital took the difficult step of referring Suvojit to AMRI Hospital Mukundupur for specialized treatment.

However, along with this glimmer of hope comes a daunting financial burden. The estimated cost of Suvojit's treatment at AMRI Hospital Mukundupur stands at approximately Rs.10 lakh. This figure is an overwhelming obstacle for his family, given their dire financial circumstances. Suvojit's father, a transport labor worker, struggles to make ends meet, and it is heart-wrenching to acknowledge that they are unable to meet the exorbitant medical expenses required to save their beloved child's life.

 No amount is too small, as every rupee takes us one step closer to securing Suvojit's future.
