|Namaste|
My name is Tek Raj from Dehradun. I have been working temporarily at Swiggy since losing a decent job at a private firm two years ago. Today, my outreach extends beyond the bonds of friendship and kinship; I stand before you as a guardian in an unforeseen battle—a battle that my beloved wife, Sushila, confronts with unwavering courage each day following her Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) diagnosis on November 8, 2019. This condition has led to complete paralysis of her lower body, necessitating my son's and my constant support for her daily activities. Despite our efforts with physiotherapy, acupuncture, and other interventions, financial constraints have hindered our ability to provide her with the prolonged hospital care essential for her effective treatment.

For those unfamiliar, AVM presents a rare, intricate challenge with abnormal blood vessel entanglements within the brain, posing sudden, life-threatening risks. Our journey, initiated by unexplained headaches and episodes of dizziness, catapulted us into a reality far from anything we could have imagined.

Sushila, the cornerstone of our joy and resilience, has always infused life with kindness and strength. Yet, since facing this diagnosis, our daily existence has been irrevocably altered. AVM treatment, marked by its complexity and significant costs, demands specialized care, potential surgeries, and extensive rehabilitation. Beyond the medical hurdles lies our greatest challenge: securing the financial means to sustain hope and normalcy amidst this turmoil.

Hence, we are initiating this fundraiser, driven not only by the urgent need to finance Sushila’s medical journey but also to illuminate the shadows cast by AVM, a condition of profound impact yet minimal public awareness.

Your support—financial, emotional, or through advocacy—holds immeasurable value to us. Here’s how you can contribute:

Donate: Every donation propels us closer to our goal. Our immediate plan involves admitting Sushila to an Advanced Neuro Rehabilitation Centre in Dehradun for approximately three months, necessitating prompt funding to address her immobilization.

Share Our Story: Elevate our cause by sharing this message. Amplifying our fight against AVM strengthens our collective resilience.

Send Love and Positive Thoughts: The assurance of not standing alone in this battle brings indescribable solace.

We recognize the universal challenges these times pose, and we deeply appreciate any support you can extend. Sushila's odyssey is a testament to the indomitable human spirit, nurtured by love, resilience, and community solidarity. United, we stand poised to navigate this challenge, emerging with renewed strength and hope.
