The local dog shelter has really suffered over the last year, with almost no volunteers, lack of funding, dogs being dumped on the doorstep. Everybody is struggling right now in these times! That doesn't exclude these dogs :(  In this small pocket, it is possible to help these dogs have a better life. No matter how many hours of work put in, it isn't enough, the shelter needs better infrastructure, the dogs are in one big area which results in constant scrapping and fighting over territory, we need to split the shelter into sections as soon as possible. We also need to help work towards sterilizing more and more dogs and otherwise, the problems and the suffering will not end! We need to plan to eradicate mange from the shelter so the dogs that are staying at the shelter are in the best possible condition and enjoying the life they have!
