I am collecting this grant for my father, who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 (which led to pneumonia) based on the HRCT Severity Score - 24/25. He was admitted to the general ward of the hospital on 05.05.2021 and no significant improvement has been seen so far. His SpO2 level is dropping significantly, making his case worse.
There are 4 members in my family is Covid positive & recently my grandfather has been passed away on 14.05.2021 due to this disease.
The consulted doctor has recommended that my father needs to be moved to an ICU or supplemented with BiPAP.
The expense of shifting her to an ICU would be lumpsum ₹20,000 per day and considering the slow rate of his recovery, he could be in ICU for at least 10 days.
