On the night of 1st June, 2014 Suchismita went to defecate in the open because of no washrooms in her village,Angalo . That night 2 people poured acid on her private parts. This was a revenge for a long feud between them and her family.

She was taken to S.C.B Medical College and Hospital for treatment. The culprits were taken into custody but later on were released and no justice has been granted yet.

Somehow she managed to complete her 12th standard in 2016. Due to weak financial position of her parents she was unable to pursue higher education.

Due to issues in family she had to abscond with her love, Dayanidhi Barik and they got married on April 15th, 2018.

Dayanidhi works as a painter and is financially incapable of supporting a family while Suchismita is 6 months pregnant now.

Her Date of Delivery has been ascertained somewhere in later August this month and she needs financial support for medical treatments and to bring a new life in this world.
