Without any further delay, she was taken to The Christian Medical College, Vellore where it was confirmed. She is suffering from Thalassemia major. She has been scheduled to have a Bone Marrow Transplant in April 2020. An advance payment of Rs.14,00,000 (Rupees Fourteen Lakhs only) need to be paid at the time of admission in The Christian Medical College, Vellore. Santosh does not earn more than Rs. 1,00,000 a year. Subhadra needs blood transfusion very often which is costing quite a lot.
