In India, sports facilities and equipment are frequently underfunded, especially in areas with a lower socioeconomic demographic, and physical education is often relegated to the sidelines. As a result, countless children from disadvantaged backgrounds miss out on the opportunity to experience the transformative benefits of sports. Gifted athletes go unnoticed, and the cycle of inequity persists, limiting the potential of India's youth.
Project ZEET (Zero Equipment Exercise Training) is an effort to bring sports education, training, and the joy of physical fitness to young minds who have been unfairly deprived of these life-changing experiences. It strives to level the playing field for kids from all backgrounds, nurturing a love for sports and fitness.
ZEET’s initiatives include developing structured educational materials on resourceful, equipment-free training methods that can be practiced in any environment, empowering both students and teachers. To expand the reach of the endeavor, we have also put together a series of children’s books to encourage participation in sports-related activities. Our next goal is to facilitate a series of subsidized football sessions for underserved youth who will benefit from training and skilled mentorship.
Project ZEET now seeks to support Sukhad Foundation, a Delhi-based NGO, in its social initiatives with youth, with a particular focus on encouraging engagement with sports and physical activity for long-term health benefits. We encourage you to donate generously for this cause!
