We at Stier Racing, are a group of students from Ramaiah Institute of Technology, who build Electric cars which will contribute towards building a sustainable planet. The team has participated in events such as Formula Green and Formula Bharat. We would like to believe that we are the pioneers of green technology.

Our captain Heramb Gadgil says- " It all started in June 2019, and will be with me for the rest of my life. Now, I live and breathe Stier Racing. I sometimes get dreams of Stier lab and Formula Bharat. Managing a team this big is not easy but with a little hard work and determination we’ve really created a family here and it hurts me to let them down due to the lack of funds."

One of the biggest problems we faced was lack of funds and time because of COVID-19. To compensate this, we work for almost 12 hours a day. Just the other day there was a sudden change of cell from Prismatic to Cylindrical. This has a domino effect, for example- we’ll need a new Battery Management System and change of the ratings of all the HV components.

These components don’t come cheap and it has increased our need for funds without which we will not be able to finish our car. It’s so disheartening to see something we’ve worked so hard on go to waste. We urge you to donate as much as possible because I believe that with a little help, we’ll be able to pull this off.
